We live in our new house in a small village, Vaše, which is close to Medvode, a small town, which is a short distance from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Our home is on the edge of the Polhovgradec dolomites landscape park. Medvode is a town that is situated on the regional route between Ljubljana and Bled.
In such an environment, we have the opportunity to take care of two friendly cats Jason and Mila. All the animals are well socialized. Therefore, they are very suitable for playing with small children. In the garden behind the house, we grow a lot of local vegetables for our own use. This is our lifestyle, which we enjoy a lot.
Our passion remains our travels, but we also enjoy home decor. This can be seen in our home, which we’ve designed by ourselves. Our home, decorated with love and a sense of aesthetics, is both clean and functional. And, if you sit on the rocking chair in front of the burning fireplace, you can fall asleep to pleasant dreams. In the evening, light shines through the glass doors, and small interior lights welcome reading. Coffee on the covered terrace takes you to another world.
We decided to merge our these two passions and show travelers our home as well as host them in our home. In July of this year, we welcomed our first guests. The guests responded that they had a nice, warm visit.
Guests in our house feel good. They can enjoy the privacy of their own apartments or rooms. Everything is new and equipped to high standards. We provide slippers, towels, and toiletries. There are TV, free parking, and free Internet. In addition, and if desired, we offer our homemade breakfast.
In the garden of our home, guests can enjoy the fresh air and a peaceful environment. They can grill meals, their children can play in the garden.
In the vicinity of our home, guests can indulge in recreational and sports activities such as mountaineering, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, downhill biking, swimming, skiing, kayaking, rafting, climbing, paragliding, fishing, tour skiing, etc. We crisscrossed the country and know many hidden places. If desired and for those who adore exploration, we will be happy to advise our guests on how to get to these hidden places and explore our beautiful Slovenia.
